What this app knows about you
Written for children. Grown-ups can read the full notice.
Standard 4 asks for something a child of the target age can understand, at the moment it matters. The MVP targets ages 6-10, so this is written to be read aloud by a child, not by an adult on their behalf. Short sentences, concrete nouns, no legal words, and nothing that asks them to make a decision an adult should be making.
Where it goes: the child's More screen, under a plain entry — "What the app knows about me". Not a modal on first run, where nobody reads anything.
What this app knows about you
Your first name, and the name you picked. That is so the app knows which missions are yours, and can say hello properly. It never asks for your surname.
Your missions. Which ones you did, and which ones you are still doing.
Your points and your XP. So your level is right and nothing gets lost.
How you made your character look. Your hair, your top, your colours.
What it does not know
It does not know where you are.
It cannot see your photos or your messages.
It does not show you adverts, and it never tells anyone else about you.
Who can see it
Only you and the grown-up who set up your family. Nobody else.
When you finish a mission, they get a message that says your first name. That is all it says.
If you want it gone
Ask the grown-up who set up your family. They can delete all of it, and then it is really gone.
